Happy hour is even happier when the sun is shining. Drinks are colder and smiles are bigger when you can take that discounted beverage to a roof or patio for some after-work revelry. Here’s our list of the best places to get toasted outdoors—for those on a budget.


 

1. Edmund’s Oast

Don’t miss out on the special menus created daily featuring $4 drinks and dishes on the newly renovated patio every day from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

 

 

2. Indaco

Sip on specially priced dishes and drinks while lounging on the oh-so-Italian outdoor patio daily from 5–7 p.m. (Bonus tip: take a gander at their house-grown micro greens while you’re out there.)

 

 

3. Local 616

Stop by and have a cold one with owner Dwayne Mitchell, voted Charleston's Bartender of the Year in 2014 by readers of Eater Charleston.
