If you haven't seen the video yet, you either haven't discovered the internet yet, and someone else is reading this out loud to you, or, you hate cat videos. Either way, there's a video that's gone nuclear online, and is being shared on all forms of social media. It's of a small boy in his yard playing when all of a sudden, he's attacked by a dog. Then, out of nowhere, the family cat explodes into view, form tackling the dog and saving the boy from further harm.
Why is this such a popular video? There are plenty of videos of animals protecting their owners. Right?
There seems to be a trend, however, with the majority of these owner protecting pet videos, and that trend is, they are all dogs. Cats don't usually hold working roles. Maybe this video's popularity is all of the cat owners proclaiming, "See?! Finally proof! Cats are good for something other than allowing you to pet it before inexplicably biting you hand!"
We leave it to you, the readers. What do you think?
