Presented by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) in partnership with The Local Palatte, Savor Charlotte, as it's dubbed, aims to show off the magic propelling our neighbor to the north into a formidable dining destination.
Charlotte's most dynamic culinary talents are heading south to give Charleston a mouthwatering makeover on Nov. 14. Five pairs of master chefs and mixologists from the Queen City are descending upon some of the Holy City's most coveted kitchens, each with their own signature edge, for aone-night-only culinary event.Presented by theCharlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA)in partnership with The Local Palatte,Savor Charlotte,as it's dubbed, aims to show off the magic propelling our neighbor to the north into a formidable dining destination. Charleston joins Atlanta and Greenville as the latest southern city to welcome the experience.
“Charlotte’s culinary scene reflects the city’s rich diversity and boundless creativity,” said Steve Bagwell, Chief Executive Officer at the CRVA. “This collaboration gives our talented chefs and mixologists a platform to showcase the distinctive flavors that define Charlotte’s culinary scene, offering Charleston diners a unique experience that we believe will spark curiosity and encourage them to explore all that our city has to offer.”
• Edmund's Oast hosts Greg Collier of 3rd & Fernwood, whose James Beard recognition speaks for itself, paired with Vinyl's Mena Killough working her magic behind the bar.
• Over at The Grocery, Mimosa Grill's Kaley Laird brings her precision technique to the Lowcountry, while Fin & Fino's Brittany Kellum crafts the drinks.
• The Ordinary welcomes Joe Kindred, the force behind Kindred and Albertine, with Ramble Drinkery's Larry Suggs handling libations.
• Counter's Sam Hart brings his coveted tasting menu style to Sorelle, backed by Colleen Hughes' cocktail program from the Tonidandel-Brown Restaurant Group.
• Southbound gets a Middle Eastern-Southern fusion from YAFO Kitchen's Shai Fargian, with Lorem Ipsum's Nadira Martin mixing drinks.
