This fresh flagship marks OluKai’s biggest yet, and the 11th location adds to the growing family of brands under Archipelago Companies (think melin, Roark, and Kaenon).

OluKai, the cool Hawaiian-inspired footwear brand, just officially dropped anchor in the stylish digs at 338 King Street, Unit A, formerly Francesca’s. This fresh flagship marks OluKai’s biggest store yet, and the 11th location adds to the growing family of brands under Archipelago Companies (think melin, Roark, and Kaenon).

At a breezy 1,803 square feet, this vibrant boutique is packed with must-haves: sandals, sneakers, slippers, and golf shoes for men and women, plus trendy melin hats to complete your look. The space effortlessly blends island ease with Charleston's classic charm. Basically, coastal cool meets cultural storytelling, creating an inviting atmosphere you'll love.

"Hawai’i’s island energy pairs perfectly with Charleston’s laid-back coastal style," says Kerry Konrady, OluKai’s CMO. "We’re not just selling shoes here—we’re sharing our story in a city known for celebrating culture, style and good vibes."

When you stop by, don't miss the custom mosaic at the entrance welcoming you with a big "E Komo Mai, (that's Hawaiian for "Welcome"). And be sure to check out the sweetgrass baskets from local Gullah Geechee artist Corey Alston, displayed alongside Hawaiian woven pieces highlighting a meaningful cultural connection.

Keep an eye out for vibrant lei-inspired artwork, including a custom creation by Hawaiian artist Kristen Reyno, symbolizing warmth and hospitality. Additionally, pineapples, the ultimate symbol of Southern and Hawaiian hospitality, are tastefully incorporated into the store’s decor, from lighting to counters.

Look up and notice the ceilings painted in Haint blue, a Gullah Geechee tradition steeped in local lore meant to ward off spirits (and bring good luck). And, don't miss the fun custom wallpaper inspired by Southern vintage dinnerware, combining motifs like sweetgrass roses, pineapples, orchids, and butterflies.
