2. Dock Street Theatre -

Watch a wonderfully entertaining show while sitting in the historic building. In 1736, the Historic Dock Street Theatre was the 1st building in America to be built primarily for theatrical performances.

My favorite showing is their Christmas themed shows! I highly suggest it!

Currently, there is a showing of The Little Mermaid until September 24th. To buy tickets, click here.

3. The Charleston Museum -

The Museum is recognized as America’s First Museum founded in 1773. It features relics and bits on the Charleston history, Civil War textiles and exhibits on the southern ways of life, culture and history.

There are new exhibits often featuring items from textiles to rocks. My favorites personally are the ones featuring the southern quilts, textiles and life in the Charleston area in the days before we knew it. Tickets are resonable too from $5- $25.
