Try This Lasagne!

I worked at Celia's all through college (many moons ago!). If you've been in Charleston for a while, you likely fondly remember her little Italian restaurant on the corner of Archdale and St. Philip's streets.

I so long for her homemade bread and caponata...and the boursin. Yum. Such great memories! Fortunately, though her restaurant is gone, Celia and many of her dishes are still around. When I am in a pinch and need a big, special family dinner or something for a last-minute dinner party, I call her up and order her famous handmade pasta lasagne. It is fabulous. It's not inexpensive, but it IS worth every penny. You wouldn't believe how long it takes her to put one of these creations together. It is like a piece of art! Enjoy!
