Charleston's style scene is set to shine once again with the return of Lexus Charleston Fashion Week® (CFW), one of the leading regional fashion weeks in the country. With Lexus celebrating its 18th year as title sponsor, the two-night affair taking place October 11-12, 2024, at Festival Hall promises not just runway shows but interactive experiences that bring the very best of local and national fashion talent to the Holy City.
Whether you’re a fashion enthusiast, a local designer, a luxury automotive buff or simply looking for an unforgettable evening out, here’s a glimpse of what you can expect.
Hendrick Lexus Charleston brings a luxurious experience that elevates the entire event. From the sleek designs on the runway to their cutting-edge vehicles, you’ll see the best in automotive and fashion excellence under one roof. The event kicks off with the much-anticipated CFW Style Lounge, presented by O’Neill Plastic Surgery.
This immersive lounge will feature a variety of interactive pop-ups from both regional and national brands. Whether you’re interested in fresh fashion, chic accessories or indulgent beauty bars, there will be something for everyone to explore. It's a perfect prelude to the main event, where attendees can refresh their look, sample new trends and mingle with fellow fashion lovers.
On Friday, October 11, the spotlight turns to emerging designers from cities like Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and our very own Charleston. Competing in the Emerging Designer Competition presented by Charleston Magazine, these talented individuals will present their collections to an esteemed panel of judges. This year’s panel includes fashion stylist and influencer Andrea Serrano, Charleston Magazine editor-in-chief Darcy Shankland, and Saks Fifth Avenue, Charleston Club darling Jill Keefer.
Attendees will witness innovative designs that push the boundaries of fashion and redefine what’s next in style. The competition isn’t just about the spotlight—it’s an opportunity for these up-and-coming talents to make their mark on the industry. And with an audience of fashion insiders, media and influencers, you won’t want to miss a single moment. The excitement continues on Saturday, October 12, where Charleston’s favorite designers and boutiques T.D. McMurry, Finicky Filly, Kiku Refashion, and Francis + Benedict will showcase vibrant head-to-toe looks on the catwalk. Expect a night full of bold colors, innovative designs and unforgettable entertainment.
In an exciting twist, this year’s event will feature “Reinvented," a special collaboration between LIXIL and a variety of architects and designers in the Charleston area teaming up to create Art Deco-inspired runway looks using materials from their manufacturer’s interior design partners.
This friendly competition challenges teams to transform everyday materials into stunning, wearable art. Fashion and architecture collide in this unique runway display, proving that beauty truly can be found in the most unexpected places.
In addition to the fashion-forward runway shows, Lexus CFW Hometown Heroes will continue to celebrate some of Charleston's most honorable among us for their admirable service to the community. This year’s honorees—community members and their families who’ve gone above and beyond in service—will be celebrated for their dedication and bravery.
