Julie Hood graduated from NC State University and earned a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She began her career at the SC Department of Social Services and has spent the past 20 years at Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC), where she now serves as SC Director of Child Services, overseeing foster care programs, day services, and emergency bed programs for youth. Her leadership emphasizes collaboration with community partners to enhance and expand the impact of LSC's services.
