Básico's Day of the Dead Celebration

Where: Básico at Mixson Bath and Racquet Club 

When: Sunday, November 1, 1-6pm 

Deets: The taqueria comes back from the dead with music, sugar skull face painting, tarot card readings, a seasonal taco and nacho bar (VERY important for the hungover), and special Day of the Dead-inspired cocktails (to bring you back to life as well).

Poogan's Porch 5h Annual Pig Roast & Bourbon Sip

Where: Palmetto Brewery

When: Sunday, November 1, 3:30-6pm

Deets: Poogan's Porch hosts its the 5th Annual Pig Roast & Bourbon Sip at Palmetto Brewery benefitting The Lowcountry Food Bank.  Tickets include entrance, all you can eat Southern barbecue favorites, three drink tickets and live music by Dallas Baker and Friends. Curated Selections will provide wine, Virgil Kaine will offer bourbon pours, and Palmetto Brewery will be tapping local brews.

Pearlz First Oyster Roast of the Season

Deets: Pearlz Little Oyster Bar in Avondale hosts its first oyster roast of the season with live music from Champagne with Friends and: $15 All You Can Eat Oysters, $4 Sangrias, $3 Vodkas, $3 Mimosas, and $1.50 High Life Cans

Sunday Brunch Farmers Market at The Pour House 

Where: 1977 Maybank Hwy. behind The Pour House

Deets: The Sunday Brunch Farmers Market at The Pour House has a little something special for the Sunday after Halloween—live music, face painting, food trucks, fall family photo booth, marshmallow roast, arts and crafts, local vendors, and a costume parade open to both people and pets with prizes.

Sweet Lulu's Bakery 2nd Annual Holiday Photo Shoot & Food Truck Brunch

When: Sunday, November 1, 11:30am-4pm
Deets: Don't take a holiday photo with your family super hungover. That's just not going to turn out well. BUT, if you insist (or your significant other does) you can have your holiday photo taken with Pearl, Sweet Lulu's snow white vintage camper. This event is really about the food— desserts from Sweet Lulu's, fresh Maine lobster rolls from The Immortal Lobster, mimosas, lattes, hot chocolate, and free doggie cookies.
