You may not be into facial hair, but give it time, it'll grow on you. No, it's not November, but that doesn't mean you can't grow that beautiful beard or mustache out and compete in a facial hair face-off that will help support Lowcountry Women with Wings. It's the 5th Annual Southeastern Beard and Mustache Competition held at the Music Farm on May 24th.
Still not convinced?
Lowcountry Women and Wings is a program designed to educate and provide support services to women dealing with ovarian cancer. There is no reliable early screening for this type of cancer, and out of the 22,000 diagnosed each year, 15,000 of those cases will be terminal. We need to do all that we can to help.
Even more of a reason to go out and support these women and their families. So don't shave, and if you already have, you still have some time to get something going. Beards are awesome. They are like music from your pores. They're the difference between "Mr." and "Sir." They're the easiest way of saying "I'm in charge." Chuck Norris has a beard, is there really another reason needed?
