Cultivating Love Through Action

Join us in this fundraising effort forJosephs Fields Farm.

Thanks to the dedication of Joseph Fields to the Johns Island organic fields, his caring for the soil and his love for the earth, many of us in the Charleston community, and surroundings, have access to beautiful local organic produce.

Joseph is keeping the family tradition as a third generation Gullah Geechee farmer; he works hard every day and teaches his grandson the ways of organic farming. Joseph Fields is one of Charleston's organic farmers pioneers.

Times are mysterious in the world, from the pandemic to the regular day to day difficulties that come with farming. Just a month ago, deer causing much destruction to acres of organic crops.

Earth Heart Growersis a local non-profit organization created to connect the youth and the earth. One of our highlight programs happens to be atJoseph Fields Farm;we bring local and other students to the fields to learn about organic farming and to have a hands-on "taste" of a Farm-to-Table experience.

We are always grateful for Joseph and Helen Fields whose love for God and the Charleston community allowed us to start our youth program at the their farm four years ago.

This time is for them! We would love to assist in building a fence to areas of the farm where the deer have access. We are also working to change the floors in the kitchen and get new appliances and revamping as we can in the area that we use for our children's outdoor classroom area at the farm.

"Back To The Earth" fundraiser will focus on helping Joseph and Helen Fields to keep up with the farm!
