As a gypsy in the Charleston theatre community, Haydn moonlights as a performer at many of the local theatrical companies, including 34 West Theatre Company, PURE Theatre, Woolfe Street Playhouse, and Threshold Repertory. Her goal as both actor and writer is to tell stories that are both visceral, and resonant. After training at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, she came to Charleston to find a community pulsing with passion and talent that fed her desire to constantly perform, learn, and grow. A self-proclaimed super-nerd and glamour junkie, Haydn relies on the chameleon effect both on and off the stage. You can usually find her at the Belmont on a Tuesday, sipping a gin gimlet, and wearing nothing but black, and French perfume.
