New Year’s Eve at Herd Provisions with New York Steakhouse-inspired Menu, Wine Pairings

Each dish will be paired with a wine, selected thoughtfully by Wine & Events Director Kellie Holmes with the guiding principles of sustainability and unique provenance in mind.

 

Consider making New Year’s Eve plans atHerd Provisionsin Wagener Terrace. The classic, New York steakhouse-inspired menu for the holiday will be fit for Frank Sinatra and complete with wine pairings and desserts to ring in 2025! Reservations are availableherefrom 5-10 p.m. 

 

Starters on theNew Year’s Eve menuinclude:

 

  • Bibb Lettuce Salad with delicata squash, blue cheese, pickled mustard seed, herb vinaigrette & bacon

  • Roasted Asparagus with lobster claw & bearnaise 

  • Oysters & Caviar with traditional accoutrement 

 

Entrees available include:

 

  • Mushroom Pot Pie with mixed mushrooms, cream & puff pastry

  • Butter Poached Lobster Tail with tarragon risotto & sauce “Newburg”

  • Filet with foie gras, truffle whipped potatoes, roasted cipollini onions, parsley sauce & red wine demi glace

  • Prime Rib with duchess potatoes, creamed spinach & horseradish demi glace

For 20 years, Bradford has run Leaping Waters Farm in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, raising some of the oldest and rarest breeds on the planet—Ancient White Park cattle. Helmed by Executive Chef Jeanne Oleksiak and Executive Sous Chef Joe Holmes, the ever-evolving lunch and dinner menus are driven by seasonal ingredients, boasting signature meats from Leaping Waters Farm alongside true farm-to-table starters, shareable dishes and entrees. The restaurant always has exciting happenings including an extensive cocktail & mocktail menu, weekly wine deals, monthly wine tastings, live music and daily happy hour.
