The holidays are a joyful time, but also a busy time. If you’re anything like me, you are consistently bombarded with emails inviting you to parties at local restaurants, stores, and breweries. But, like me, you probably have a finite amount of time to dedicate to reveling in the holiday spirit.
To help you – and me – manage the holiday social scene, we’ve created a list of Must Attend events that either provide food, drink, fun, or opportunities to shop. If it doesn’t check one of these boxes, I don’t want to be there – and neither will you!
December 4 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Unlike other homebrew competitions that have rigid requirements and limit brewers to certain flavors or styles, Rusty Bull has challenged some of the best homebrewers in the Charleston area to create beers that will taste like campfire favorites - something smoked, s’mores, toasted marshmallows, etc.
Make a $5 donation to the North Charleston Miracle League to sample the competition beers and vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice Awards.

This is the trifecta of holiday spirit. Celebrate with the Bay Street Biergarten with holiday-infused musical sets by DJ NattyHeavy and an ugly sweater competition (with a chance to win a $50 gift card). Ho, ho, ho hooooooh, but wait for the best part: bring in a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots and in return, the Biergarten will give its guests a free order of tater tots. Count us in!
