Visitors come from around the world to visit Charleston gardens in the spring. It's almost criminal for a local not to drive down Highway 61 to visit the blossom shrines. I went to Middleton Place this year and may still make it to Magnolia Gardens. We are in the magic season, camellias are fading leaving a colored carpet on the ground and azaleas are still in bloom.
