Berkeley Battlefield Tour

Travelers and history lovers can explore the Patriots’ victories and defeats on the Berkeley County battlefields.

 

Berkeley County is famous for its Revolutionary War connections, not only serving as the setting for 32 of the Revolution’s over 200 battle sites in South Carolina, but also for its two prominent military leaders: General Francis Marion and General William Moultrie. Travelers and history lovers can explore the Patriots’ victories and defeats on the Berkeley County battlefields.

 

The tour will be held on April 11 and April 12 with many highlighted stops including the Fort Fair Lawn, Mepkin, Biggin Church, Wadboo and Quinby.
