Hot Style Happenings, Happening TONIGHT

One of our city's newer retail havens, Calypso St. Barth, located at 234 King Street, is hosting a special shopping event tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. with special guest host, stylist Andrea Serrano. Lite bites, champagne, and wine will be served as guests preview the latest fashions, with the added bonus of personal styling sessions from Serrano herself! Andrea says of the event, "Calypso approached me to host a stylist event, and I wanted to do an informal fashion show to bring the clothes to life. I've been a big fan of their global brand for many years and I wanted to share with the Charleston market their beautiful aesthetic. I'm excited to collaborate with local businesses such as Bellelina Makeup Studio and Elysium Hair Salon to achieve the 'Gypsy Resort' look on the model." If you want an exclusive sneak peek of what to expect tonight, here are a couple of photos to tempt your fashion taste buds. Before heading out to Calypso, you may want to pregame at The Mary Street Circus Trunk Show, featuring handmade jewelry, locally designed clothes, recycled furniture, and more! Everything kicks off at 4 and goes until 9 p.m. Head over to 36 Mary Street for what they are calling "The Best Trunk Show On Earth"! 

Of course the fashion marathon doesn't stop tonight. Make plans to head over to Tabbuli Grill (located at 6 North Market Street) tomorrow night, June 29, from 7 to 10 p.m. for White Haute Nights, a South Beach-style event featuring a special presentation of the Cynthia Rowley summer collection styled by Alexandra Styles. It will be an entire evening of Mediterranean-inspired fare and cocktails along with great inspiration of how to be on trend this season!
