Join members of the Garden Club for a guided tour to learn more about the flowers and trees featured and the work that goes into maintaining a historic formal garden.
The beautiful formal garden located behind the Joseph Manigault House has been maintained by the Garden Club of Charleston since 1949. The garden is designed to reflect what might have been found in Charleston during the early 1800s and features a garden recently added near the foundation of the kitchen house and other plants authentic to the period. Join members of the Garden Club for a guided tour to learn more about the flowers and trees featured and the work that goes into maintaining a historic formal garden. Guests are invited to tour the interior of the Joseph Manigault House before the garden tour commences at 4:00 pm. Spring themed refreshments will be served prior to the tour.
Reservations are required. Fee for non-members covers house admission. Free for Museum Member | $15 Non-Member.
