The Gibbes Museum of Art is hosting Gibbes on the Street, now in its 14th year, during the museum’s third annual visual arts festival,Art Charleston.Some of Charleston’s best-regarded restaurants will provide tastings in a ticketed block-party style event on Meeting Street, with live music, dancing, an open bar and delicious food. The event takes place Thursday, April 25, from 8 to 10:30 P.M. at 135 Meeting Street downtown. Art Charleston is a five-day visual arts festival from April 24 – 28, 2024, enhancing the cultural landscape through special programs and events that highlight Charleston’s strong and diverse human stories through the visual arts.

Including historical, modern, and contemporary works, the collection spans 350 years and features some of the country’s most celebrated artists.
