The Alley reopens after 170-day shutdown with help from MUSC
By Robin Gibson
This ongoing partnership has helped The Alley to reopen in the safest possible manner and to continue to do so moving forward.
The Alley reopened its doors Wednesday, September 2nd, after a 170-day closure due to COVID-19. Many bars, restaurants and entertainment centers opened months ago but the team at The Alley chose to remain closed for the greater good of the community.
In fact, a previously planned reopening on June 16th was halted due to a spike in cases in the Charleston area, with the safety of staff & guests being the highest priority for the establishment.
After this delay, The Alley partnered withMUSCto ensure that all best practices were in place. This ongoing partnership has helped The Alley to reopen in the safest possible manner and to continue to do so moving forward.
The Alley is now operating with a safety plan that is as thorough and comprehensive as possible. For a full account of all safety measures, visitthealleycharleston.com.
