With the mercury melting more each day,Firefly Distilleryis doing its best to keep everyone cool with three creative cocktails on its menu this summer. Each drink is a play on favorite songs and artists deliciously crafted to quench our collective thirst.

 

The following is a breakdown of the cocktail offerings on ice along with the musical inspiration behind them.

A play on the classic Whiskey Sour, this cocktail is a nod to the award-winning band,Whiskey Myers,who performed live at the distillery on July 7. Featuring Whiskey Jam whiskey, complemented by fresh Meyer lemons, this sweet, bold, and tart cocktail will make you feel like a rock star.

 

Watermelon Sugar

 

Watermelon Sugar

 

Inspired by Harry Styles’ classic hit "Watermelon Sugar",this infamous cocktailsold out last year so it’s back by popular demand. As tasty as it is Instagram-able, this frozen summer-y creation is made with Firefly’s Low Country Gin and Lemonade Vodka and garnished with a whole watermelon slice.

Calling all Moscow Mule lovers, this one will make you want to sing. The Shakey Fuel was made in honor ofShakey Graveshimself playing live at the distillery and features Charleston’s own Sweatman Ginger Beer, Firefly’s Classic Vodka, and of course fresh lime juice.  

 

Don't let the heat slow you down. These seasonal cocktails are here for the summer and then they are gone.
