Several generous awards will be presented to artists in both exhibitions during the Opening Reception and on the Institute's Instagram at 6 p.m.

In collaboration with the Department of Studio Art at the College of Charleston (CofC), the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art is thrilled to present Young Contemporaries 2023, an annual exhibition of work in a variety of mediums from talented student artists.

A selection of works that were not chosen for Young Contemporaries - Salon des Refusés - will show concurrently in the exhibition space of the Cato Center for the Arts. The works in the Salon are chosen by Studio Art faculty.
