"Many hands make light work."

This familiar adage could not be more accurate when it comes to how this garden opportunity has grown. The Mount Pleasant Land Conservancy and the Charleston Parks Conservancy acquired the 3.7 acres of land in August 2011 with the help of the Charleston County Greenbelt program. It was then donated to The City of Charleston for use as a public park. This set the foundation for students from the Clemson Architecture Center in Charleston to assist in the design and installation of a dynamic 400 square-foot shaded pavilion that will be used for community workshops and as a community gathering area. Countless volunteers have been working diligently constructing planters and clearing the area.

The Garden Open House is sure to be a fun event!  Why not dig in?
