Culinary bazaar sale to benefit industry women

Local philanthropic chapter hosting fundraiser for women in food, beverage and hospitality.

The Charleston chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier— women in the food, beverage and hospitality industry — are selling their gently-used kitchen items at a culinary bazaar on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Here are the details:

 

  • VIP Early Shopping Entry 10 -11 a.m. for first crack at the sale items ($10 admission cash at the door)

  • General Admission: 11 am – 2 pm

  • Location: High Wire Distilling at 311 Huger Street, Charleston SC 29403

Don’t miss out on the ultimate shop-ortunity for cooks and home entertainers! This one-day sale is where treasures from the private collections of some of Charleston’s most influential foodies, chefs and kitchens available for purchase.

 

A culinary marketplace featuring gently used and new culinary delights including serving pieces, counter-top appliances, crystal, china, barware, cookbooks, kitchen gadgets and more!

 Half-Price Sale starts at 12:30 p.m. and $5 Bag Sale starts at 1:30.

Food and Drinks will be available for purchase on site from the High Wire Tasting Room and Kitchen. Participate in our BAKE SALE with sweet treats baked with love by some of Charleston’s best chefs, chocolatiers and bakers. Enter to win great prizes in the culinary raffle! Each ticket is just $5 or 5 for $20.


 

The Culinary Bazaar is a new event to raise funds for the group’s scholarship program and other philanthropic efforts. Each year, the Charleston chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier awards upwards of $5,000 in scholarships to deserving candidates. We also donate $5,000 annually to a local charity(currently Amor Healing Kitchen).
