Valentine's Day in Charleston
Being single on Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to suck, especially when you live in Charleston. I found myself asking, “what am I going to do this holiday” or more importantly, “what can I buy myself this holiday”? With a little help from Cupid himself, I’ve compiled a list of deals and steals around Charleston that you'll probably fall in love with just in time for February 14.
Flowers. Call me a classic romantic or a girl who worked in a floral shop for three years, but I seriously love flowers. Red roses on Valentine’s Day, how original you might think. What about a different alternative to fresh flowers? Flowershop of Charleston is offering dried floral arrangements and an extensive selection of dried floral crowns in their downtown shop. Floral crown? Yes, please! Dried flowers not your thing? They will also be offering fresh hand-tied bundles, bud vase arrangements, and centerpiece arrangements as well! Hours for shop pickup will be on Saturday, February 11, and limited hours on Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 14. Make sure you order in advance so you can schedule a good pickup time!Flowershop 125 1/2 Spring Street Charleston, SC 29403 firstname.lastname@example.org
Chocolate. Sometimes I’m convinced I could eat my weight in chocolate. With that being said, this holiday Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier might be making that thought come true. On February 13 and 14 from 6:30pm-8:30pm, they will be teaming up with Low Tide Brewing to host a beer and chocolate pairing. That’s right- beer AND chocolate. This event is perfect for a date night, a group of friends, or individuals. A limited amount of tickets will be for sale at $22 each. For more information on ticket purchase, contact Low Tide Brewing at (843) 501-7570.Low Tide Brewing 2863 Maybank Hwy John Island, SC 29455
Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier will also be featuring three different sizes of edible chocolate boxes, the 2-piece at $11.95, the 4-piece at $17.95, and the 11pc at $40.95. They also have heart shaped candy boxes that aren’t edible if double the amount of chocolate isn’t your thing.Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier
