I did however still manage to squeeze photographing, on my iPhone 6, into this frenzied new world and am so thankful that I was able to document this formative period of my new wine life.

Husk was my first job as a wine professional, and I had the honor of being the Wine Director for James Beard Award-winning chef, Sean Brock, for nearly two years at his restaurant, Husk, in Charleston. It was frenetically exciting, overwhelming at times, as I grappled with the complexity of the steep learning curve that is running a premier wine program for one of the top restaurants and chefs in America.
