(L-R): Judges Aarón Sánchez, Gordon Ramsey and Joe Bastianich in the all-new season of Master Chef on Fox. Supplied by Fox.

Fox’s MasterChef, the TV cooking competition known to put home cooks through a series of intense challenges is coming to Charleston. This is season 10 of MasterChef, so you know it is going to be an exciting season.

If you think you have the “it factor” to wow the judges, bring one dish with you to the Charleston Art Institute on September 8 for the open casting calls.

You’ll need to bring a dish that you have already prepared, and then you have three minutes to plate the dish for the judges.

If you’re interested in coming out to meet the casting director and the Gordon Ramsey team, preregister online and bring an application to the casting call. Then, cook up your dish and get ready to dazzle.

The casting director is looking for aspiring MasterChefs who have fun personalities, a passion for cooking, and a solid foundation.

Everything you need to know

  1. Pre-register in advance by clicking here.
  2. Download the application from here and bring it with you.
  3. Bring your prepared meal, food, and all ingredients to make a finished and plated dish. There will not be a kitchen to cook or warm up your food. Also, note that the casting team will not supply you with dishes, utensils, etc. so come with everything you need in hand!
