Live music from various local artists will fill the Front Porch, and guests are welcome to bring chairs, lawn games and oyster shucking gear.

Firefly Distillery,Charleston’s oldest and most popular distillery, announced it will bring back its monthly"Bring Your Own Shuckers” Oyster Roastsfrom January through March on its four-acre field alongside the Noisette Creek. The ticketed Sunday events will offer all-you-can-eat oysters fromLowcountry Oyster Coalong with live music, beer, and Firefly cocktails for purchase. Event attendance is limited, andtickets are available now. 

“We’re kicking off 2023 by celebrating our local community and are looking forward to opening the distillery on Sundays for these seasonal oyster roasts,” said Scott Newitt, co-founder of Firefly Distillery. “It’s a great time of year to crack open some local oysters and enjoy the mild Charleston weather outside alongside our neighbors.” 

While bottle sales are limited to Monday to Saturday, seasonal and signature Firefly cocktails will be featured in the Tasting Room and Back Porch bars during this exclusive Sunday event. 

Tickets start at $12.50 for children twelve and under and $25 for adults and include all-you-can-eat oysters. Each event will be limited to 500 tickets and guests must purchase online in advance. The oyster roasts will kick off at 12 p.m. and run through 4 p.m., with drinks available for purchase until 5p.m. Live music from various local artists will fill the Front Porch, and guests are welcome to bring chairs, lawn games and oyster shucking gear. 

A perfect pairing with Lowcountry oysters, a Bloody Mary bar will be available complete with all of the classic accoutrement and Firefly Vodka.
