Chucktown Brewery releases beer for International Women's Day

$3 from every pound of Pink Boots blend sold was donated to the Pink Boots Society.
The self-described ladies of Chucktown Brewery, collectively known as "Queens on King," are behind a new beer release commemorating International Women's Day on Tuesday, March 8. The small-batch Pale Ale was brewed and dry hopped using this year'sPink Boots SocietyHop Blend with proceeds benefitting the international non-profit.
This is a special yearly release Yakima Chief Hops does in collaboration with the organization dedicated to supporting women in the beer industry through education. $3 from every pound of Pink Boots blend sold is donated to the Pink Boots Society.
From naming the beer to creating the flavor profile and the ABV, the entire brewing process was done by the ladies of Chucktown.
The Queens On King Pale Ale-American contains 5.9% ABV with the Pink Boots Blend of HBC 630, Idaho Gem, Loral, Talus and Triumph hops. Rounding out the experience is a healthy amount of passion fruit, orange and guava to make it extra juicy.
From naming the beer to creating the flavor profile and the ABV, the entire brewing process was done by the ladies of Chucktown. General Manager Leeann Murphy even led the brew for the day!
