The Scouted Studio, a locally based arts management company, has officially announced its first emerging artist virtual pop-up show, featuring works from 24 artists from across the United States and the globe.

In response to the cancellation of art events and closing of local galleries as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Scouted Studio is using their virtual platform to increase exposure for emerging artists, offering them an outlet to sell their work when other options are no longer viable.

“This show is meant to bring together the art community and those who are interested or may become interested in art,” says Hayley Price, owner and founder of The Scouted Studio. “With everything going on in the news, people can use art as an escape to keep their spirits high and find newfound inspiration in their own homes.”

The show runs from now until April 30. Throughout the month, each artist will showcase four pieces, highlighting their individual collections. The Scouted Studio has dedicated 10 percent of all sales to supporting Charleston-area food banks to help those affected by the coronavirus.

Several of the participating artists have matched the Scouted Studio’s contribution. Access the virtual pop-uphere.
